Mímisbrunnr - The Water of Wisdom

Mímisbrunnr is the well of wisdom water located beneath one of the three roots of the world tree Yggdrasil.

According to the Norse mythology, the Mímisbrunnr is the well of Mimir, the wisest of the gods of the tribe Aesir who was also believed to be a water spirit.  A story has it that Odin had once given one of his eyes to the well in order to drink from it.
